Sending email from Outlook

Good Day!
We are using 11.4.6 and Scalix Connect (Outlook 2000 and 2003).
On some PCs (Totally around 140 users) while sending email out it hangs for aprox. 4 seconds.
What is the possible reason?

How large are the emails? Are you using SmartCache? If you are not using SmartCache, Outlook will send the whole email to the server before handing control back to the user. If you are sending a large email, this may take a few seconds, depending on your network speed.
