thinstuff vs. Terminalserver

Postby sego » Sun Jun 06, 2010 1:58 am

Hi @all,

has anybody experience with thinstuff and Scalix Outlook Connector? http://www.thinstuff.com/ I've tried a demo setup on vmware ESXi -> Windows7 Outlook 2007 and some Demo Users and parallel working with Outlook/Scalix Connect via RDP seems to work fine. But this was just a demo setup and not hard working for years.

Thinstuff gives you the possibility to convert a normal Windows PC into something like a Terminal Server, but it is much cheaper particularly when you buy the unlimited Version. You can save much licence cost for Office or other Programs, because you do not have to use the expensive Volume-licences instead of std. licences...

Thanks for any hints...

Microsoft desktop OS EULAs forbid this sort of thing. They only allow one user to login at a time.
This approach maybe cost saving and novel, but is almost assuredly not legal.
