Windows 7 outlook 2007 connector 11.4.5 crashes

Hello,

We're trying to use Scalix Outlook Connector 11.4.5 on Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. But it doesn't work for us. I don't know if anyone has experience with this but it crashes all the time (outlook even can't be started) Only thing working was adding a scalix account, but as soon as you start Outlook afterwards it crashes

This is what we tried:
- Just standard Outlook, Connector 11.4.5 and Windows 7 Release Candidate (crashes)
- updated Windows 7 (still crashes)
- Set Outlook and all Scalix executables in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode (still crashes)

I know it can be a problem since we're using a Release Candidate of Windows 7, but I just trying to help with testing this product and find the right solution.

At this very moment I'm downloading SP2 for Office 2007 and hoping it will install on Outlook 2007 only version

Anyone a suggestion ?

What Outlook Addins are enabled in the trust centre?

What AV software are you running and does it have a plugin into outlook?

Is windows live installed? if so get rid of it. In recent times (even with 11.4.5) i've found that outlook (with scalix) will not start at all with windows live installed. Look for windows live components in "Programs and Features" to remove, and also "Office Outlook Connector" which is another windows live component.

Yes, found the sollution.

I removed all Microsoft Live stuff and the Office Outlook Connector. During the last Live removal I accidentally hit the reset button with my foot ***OOPS ****

But after the restart Outlook still didn't work.

Downloaded SP2 for Office 2007 and installed it. And YES! it worked!!
