Email reappearing after moving to personal folder

We are having an issue where after moving items into a personal folder stored on a network share they are reappearing in the users inbox after restarting Outlook.
The messages sometimes appear in both the inbox and the users personal folder after the restart.
Scalix 11.4.1
Outlook 2003 SP3
Scalix Connector 10.0.0.366
Any ideas appreciated .....

Beside that a PST on a network share is unsupported by MS (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297019/en-us and http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/04/03/437467.aspx) you should first try to use a more recent version of Scalix Connect.

Just to test, can you create a new PST on your local drive and try the same operation?
(While PST files on the network are officially supported, I have had minimal issues when using them over a LAN)
And as Dirk mentioned, why not use the 11.4.1 connector?

Changed to v11 of connector and that problem hasnt happened again. To answer your question the reason I didnt upgrade to v11 is because we are not using smartcache and I have been advised by associates that the v11 connector is not worth going to in that case.
After using it for a couple of days I can understand their recommendation. My connector (after being pretty stable apart from the problem above) now refuses to display certain messages without a restart, frequently locks up and wont allow me to respond to voting buttons. Im using version 11.4.1.7704 - anyone else having issues with v11 connector?

The connector is improving. You should have very little lssues if you use a direct connection, the problems are mainly with SmartCache. And there has been a HUGE amount of bugfixes since 11.4.1.

OK - planning to move to 11.4.5 this weekend so will use the new connector. FYI we are not using smartcache.
Is there any danger in using the 11.4.5 connector with the 11.4.1 server?

There is no test-scenario for QA for new versions of Scalix connect against older server releases. Hence you will get no official answer.
You shouldnt take the risk.

Is anyone from scalix reading this? I am an enterprise customer yet bugs like this never seem to be fixed or even responded to ....

Have you opened a bug or a support case? If you want someone to look at it, that would be the best way.

I'd go a step further; opening a support ticket is the only way to get guaranteed response under a SLA. everything that's happening on the forum is voluntary, without SLA and mostly within the community.
I don't have any quick idea, so this must be investigated on-system, don't see this happening on the forum.
