drafts not going to drafts folder

Postby RickC » Tue Apr 14, 2009 10:31 am

Hi, I'm seeing my emails, that I'm in the process of composing, come into my inbox as a 'new' message. Yes its the auto-save feature, but in the past these have been put in the drafts folder, not the inbox.

In fact when I save a composed message (not sending) it saves it as a new email in the inbox. I need to manually drag it to the drafts folder.

Has something changed on the settings for the new connector? I'm using OL 2k7 with Scalix Connect 11.4.3.

Thanks

I know it works for me on the same setup.

Are you using a SmartCache profile? Normally with a situation like this, i would suggest you try it on a different PC and in webmail and see if the issue can be reproduced. Perhaps you can also create a new profile in Outlook and see if this has the same behaviour?

Hi,
Have you checked the " Advanced email options " in outlook.

Outlook ->tools ->otpions ->email options ->Advance email options

Check if you the correct seeting here to save the unsent messages in 'Drafts' and not 'Inbox'

That was it. Apparently either the new connector /new profile that was built with the new connector has the default setting to save drafts to the inbox.

Thanks!
