Outlook Connector not sending emails

I have had major issues.99.9% of them my fault. So moving on.

Is there anywhere else I can look to try and resolve this issue. It could be a permissions issue. I did do a cp of the mailstore with out preserving permissions. let me know if anyone has an idea. Scalix Support has been very helpful. I think that I have about worn out my friendliness with them though, I'm sure that I have been that big of a pest.

You don't mention what version you're running. Start by making sure you're on 11.4.1. There have been steady improvements in the Outlook Connector with Smartcache, and you'll want to have the newest version always.

A bit of a personal recommendation, if you don't need smartcache, don't use it.

Make sure you've created a new Outlook Profile for the user if you've upgraded from a really old version of the connector (with smartcache).

Sorry, I have done all of that. New accounts with and w/o smartcache. It appears that it is the outlook connection to scalix. It is the last thing that I have to get fixed.

Scalix Support is working on it right now. I do hope that they can resolve it. I stepped on their toes yesterday and they had to refix something that we were both working on.

It is a big mess. A word to the wise. Make sure that you back up hard links, symlinks, and permissions. Other wise you will have support tied up for days, and you will have a big head ache.

i'm having the same issue

Unexpected sync error type 41

with a user running 11.4.5. is there a fix for this?

Please start a new thread and post the exact problem you are having.

Is this a new install? New PC? What OS? What version of Outlook? Did it work with an earlier release of the connector? Are there other Outlook Plugins installed? Does it work correctly for other users on your server, are THEY working? Is it using smartcache? is DNS correct and resolveable from the desktop. Can you telnet to the server on port 5729, and if so, what do you see?
