This is still a very annoying problem and wish a fix would come out. Some users have over 1000 items and to try to find the one corrupt item is really a pain.

I have run the script and deleted all calendar items and still get the "ascii error"

For me this all started with 11.2-11.3 and the server upgrade.

This is now going all over - getting a lot of users with this problem and I really do not have the time to keep looking for the corrupt one and deleting them.

Is there a bug out there for this? If not we need to submit one and I would like to see a fix for this. As we can tell from this thread alone, a lot of people are running into the same issue.

Any suggestions from Scalix?

Thank you

Not sure if there's a bug for this. You will have to check http://bugzilla.scalix.com and log it there if it's not present.

Yeah I just did a search - here is the bug:

https://bugzilla.scalix.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14590

I just updated it- I hope to see a resolution soon, our users are getting frustrated and I can not keep taking my time to fix. Even with some users I have fixed it comes back after a few weeks.

Sorry for my frustration, but its tough when a lot of my users are being impacted.

Thank you

Calendar Reading Error

Postby voffice » Tue Mar 10, 2009 4:13 am

:?:

I am experiencing the same error. We want to upgrade the version to see if it will fix the problem. Will that help?

The current version we are running is 11.1 and the latest version is 11.4.3

Our distribution is CentOS 5.0

Can we upgrade on the current machine from 11.1 to 11.4.3. We do not want to do a migration (from one server to another).

There mail store is something like 17G so far.
