Scalix Connect Crashing on Startup

Postby rmo » Sun Jun 13, 2010 2:15 am

Hi,

I just set up a brand new install of Scalix on OpenSuSE 11.0. It all went fairly smoothly, and I can access the web interface (administration and webmail), no issues at all. I installed Scalix Connect in Windows, and added a profile - again no issues (and my login was confirmed). Then I started Outlook ... and it all broke ... :-(.

Outlook (2007) won't even start - Scalix Connect hangs is up, and here is what I see in the Scalix log,

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Update Outlook with all available patches and service packs.

Then have a look in the trust center. it'll be a plugin conflicting with the scalix connector. Anti-virus plugins can do this, as do itunes, business contact manager, outlook connector (office live) and probably some others. Disable them one by one till you get outlook stablized.

Les Stott
