I have been trialling Scalix (using the community edition) for three months and cannot figure out how to make task list functionality work. When an Outlook 2007 user creates a task (either by using the new task dialogue or dragging one from the desktop) in their Scalix account it does not show in the tasks list BUT a reminder dialogue does pop up when the task is due. It does seem that the task is being stored at the server side because if the user creates the task on their desktop machine and later uses their laptop to connect to the same Scalix account using Outlook then the task reminder still appears (although again the task list itself is empty).
There does not seem to be a task list in Scalix Web Access and so therefore the task functionality appears unusable.
Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to resolve it? Is it a known issue with a documented workaround?
I have tried the following fixes with no success:
• Re-install Scalix Connect (problem reproducible 100% of the time)
• Try a different client (problem reproducible on two machines both W7/OL2007)
• Reinstall Scalix Server from scratch in a fresh VM (same problem as before)
n.b. I am also experiencing (possibly unrelated) problems with Scalix Connect add-ins and Categories in Outlook – please see list at the end of this post.

Other clients: Scalix Web Access (over HTTPS), iPhone (Using secure IMAP over Stunnel)
