Same here, disabling the Nod32 Outlook plug-in solved this issue. It's not the most ideal solution but since all e-mail is scanned via a smtp proxy before it reaches the Scalix server, the risks are acceptable.

Nod32 will still scan messages even if the outlook integrated scanner is disabled. It will use its real time (or resident shield) scan engine that scans every file you use as it is being used. Consider that when you receive a message, outlook must create a temporary file somewhere, this file, gets scanned by the real time engine anyway. If you add an attachment to a mail message it gets scanned by the realtime engine as you access it. Nod32 still scans everything you do in email. The email integration is for scanning on send/receive, which real time/ resident shield will do also anyway. The email integration breaks scalix. Turning it off does not imply you have no antivirus protection on email, and it doesn't imply you're only relying on a gateway AV scanning solution.
