Message box from sxlsvr32

Postby SidebandSamurai » Wed Aug 26, 2009 1:05 pm

Hello all

I am getting a message box from sxlsvr32 stating "Record is Deleted" with an OK button at the bottom. This warning message will not go away. I have experienced this once before and was able to power through it by hitting OK a couple hundred times. After that the message box never re-appeared. Now I have been at it for the last 30 minutes and this problem will not go way for this client, and of course this is one of partners in the firm so she is not happy she can't get to her e-mail.

Is there something in the registry I can set that will turn this message off?

Sincerely,

Sideband Samurai

This series of messages repeat over and over again. I have been trying for the last half an hour to get rid of this error with out resetting the cache and it will not go away. "Record is deleted" error appears right after the last line in the listing above.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone,

More info: my attachment size has been set to 4K because this person has a large mail box. Smartcache has been set to "Synchronize to send and receive mail", vs the default of "synchronize all folders". I felt this would reduce the amount of caching. This has only been set for a few days. This all worked fine up until this morning.

i don't want to destroy the cache as she is on a slow T-1 connection.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Sideband Samurai

Bug https://bugzilla.scalix.com/show_bug.cgi?id=18910 ( [Defect] pop-up error from SXLSVR32: "Record is deleted"/"Datensatz ist gelöscht") was fixed with Scalix (Connect) 11.4.4.
Are using using this or a later version?
If not, try upgrading first.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your reply. In answer to your question:

I am currently going through all the workstations to make sure everyone has been upgraded to the current Scalix Client. I upgraded this worksation manually to 11.4.4 before the problem occured. I have also been tweaking her smart cache settings to make things quicker on the slow T-1.

I had smart cache set to cache only Inbox and Sent Items. Then I have smartcache only store attachments of 4K or smaller in the smart cache database . If I tell smartcache to cache all items, after a few hours, the smartcache starts reporting that it is near the 2GB limit. It never says its full, but becuase of the slow link (only 1.544mb or T-1) it is taking a very long time (usually several days) before the cacheing is complete. At this point I have not been able to complete cacheing her account. The error occured a couple of days after I had destroyed her cache and started a reinitalization of the cache

I did run the imapcache.sh script last night becuase she was complaining that she could not log on to scalix either. It would start to partically load the inbox then report an error. The script reported specifically omtidyu reported "invalid Characters in her account" I am assuming that omtidyu has fixed this problem.

Did we run across the bug again?

Hello

Has someone forgotten me here? I have not received an answer regarding this question for quite a while. What is the status of this problem as I have encountered the problem again in the 11.4.4 client.

thanks for your time.
