[Solved] V11.4.3 sxowui32.dll - errors when starting outlook

when starting outlook i get an error:

Code: Select all

the add-in "C:\Program Files\Scalix\Connect\sxowui32.dll" could not be installed or loaded. this problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu.


I clicked "OK" and got:

The add-in "C:\Program Files\Scalix\Connect\sxext32.dll" could not be installed or loaded. this problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu.

I figured that the DLL files were not registered. So I thought that I would do it manually

Code: Select all

regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Scalix\Connect\sxooa32.dll"


This wouldn't work either. I noticed that Windows Search was runing, or the indexing server was.. so I killed it. Still not fixed. I'm going to reboot and see if that helps, but not sure that it will.

A reboot seems to have fixed this issue with the upgrade.
