Scalix Cache Manager crashes many times. In the Detailed Message i see, somethin like: sxcachemgr.exe - 11.4.3.8048 - ntdll.dll

In the CSV Logfile the last entries are:

We use Windows XP SP 3 and Outlook Professional 2007 , both german version.

I don't have any Idea what the problem coul'd be.

I don't have any Idea what the problem coul'd be.

I cant tell you what those csv log entires mean, but basics first. In my experience most crashes are due to not having all service packs for office applied and com add-ins conflicting with the scalix connector.

So do you have sp1 and all patches loaded for office 2007?

and what com-addins are enabled in outlook? Check the trust center (tools -> trust center -> manage com addins).
Likely incompatible plugins are AV plugins and itunes. You will need to disable them and restart outlook to see if it stops crashing.

one other thing....as you are using smartcache have you tried recreating the cache? or setting up a new outlook profile?

Ok, i see the Windows Desktop Search was installed again, And Addins are all disabled. I will check it again. If it happens again i will post it.
