Sub-folders vanish

Postby jedwards » Fri Jan 27, 2006 7:50 pm

Using Outlook with Outlook Connect, logged in to Scalix Enterprise, I created a sub-folder of the inbox. This folder is there for an action performed by a rule. I.E. if a certain string appears in the header, move it to the sub-folder. Great, it works. The next day the folder and the client side rule have vanished.

Thanks for your help.

Jim

Hi Jim,

I don't see this behavior and judging by the lack of response from the community no one else is experiencing it either. What version of Outlook, Scalix Connect, and server are you on?

Thanks,
Don

I have similar issues. I have not been able to test myself, but have had reports from two users of this same problem.

scalix 9.2.1 (same for connect) and Outlook 2003. Server is redhat AS ver 4.

Will test further and let you know.

Question: Avg time to upgrade scalix? I'd like to move onto 10, but am short staffed and don't want to get into a long drawn out procedure right now.

I have one main server and one server with message store only connected to same domain. Any hints on upgrade timeframe/issues?

Hi Anthony,

Average time? To run through the install takes only about 10-15 minutes. You are, however, going to want to spend time reading the installation guide. Several things have changed and you will want to be aware of those changes.

Regards,
Don
