cannot open and share adressbook of other users

hello,

i tryd to open and share adressbook and kalender with and from other users...
i think i did it the right way..

when i goto: File/Open/Other Users' Folder and chose the user i shared before over the tools menue ..

i get error messeg (german): der ordner kann nicht angezeigt erden. der informationsspeicher steht zurzeit nicht zur verfuegung.

like: cant show that folder. the filesave is not available now

A few things to check/ask:

* Both users are enterprise users?
* You setup delegation in Outlook?
* You chose the users name from the SYSTEM address book?

Further things to check...

.. on the server, check that the mailnode on which the user whose folders you're trying to open is correctly mapped to the user's home server (even if it's only one server in total) using omaddmnmp.

... if necessary, correct the mailnode-hostname mapping using omaddmnmp (yes, it is called "add" even if it's modifying an existing entry in the table; it overwrites it!)

... also, check that this very hostname correctly resolves to the IP address of the server of the user using a ping command on the windows client you're using to try to access.

very often failures of this kind are DNS-related.
