Unable to open mail error

We are getting the following error using Outlook 2003 and Scalix Community edition
When opening (viewing) mail Outlook gives the error message
"Item cannot be displayed in message viewing pane, please click to open"
When double clicked to open the email the next error says
"Cannot open item, no description of this fault is available"
So the email cannot be read.
At first I though it was from inbox items imported from pst,s but now it is also happening on newly recieved mail ?
It is not on all mail, just some

Hi dg_w,

Try creating a new, unique profle on the user's machine. Still a problem? What happens if you access the mailbox from a different machine? If still a problem there may be a problem with the mailbox. Try

omscan -U "user name" -Af


Still not working? I suggest using omcpoutu to export the messages, deleting/renaming the mailbox, creating a new mailbox, and omcpinu the messages previously exported.

 omcpoutu -n name[/mailnode] -f filename

 omcpinu -f filename [-m mailnode]


For virtually all om* commands there are man pages available.
