Scalix Connect with Windows 98

I know Scalix does not support Windows98, but has anyone been able to get this to work?

It has been tried but due to the different MAPI spooler implementation in Windows 98, all kinds of problems exist and it is technically unstable platform, so the non-support is not only a formal statement but something with a technical background.

You will have to upgrade your systems to Win 2K or XP to utilize Scalix with Outlook.

For users on '98, our highly functional Scalix Web Access might be a solution; also, IMAP clients can be used for "Email-Only" support!
