outlook appointments not showing up in SWA

Postby santo » Thu Dec 01, 2005 11:17 am

when I create a calendar item (appointment) in outlook, this item never shows up in SWA.
The other way around it does work, i.e. when I create a new appointment in SWA it shows up in outlook.

Any ideas ?

Santo,

I assume you are running Outlook and SWA concurrently. In this case, the workaround is to log out and log back in SWA (you may also press the F5 key in SWA). Concurrent access will be fully supported in a future release.

I already tried logging out and back in again several times, but without any result.
This time I tried with F5 (as you suggested)
Pressing F5 gave me some popup message ("method = ..." <don't know exactly>) and then a blank screen.
Then I closed the browser window, opened browser again, logged in to SWA and now some calendar entries are showing up (exactly 2), but the other appr 25 still don't show up !

Hi,

Ok.. can you confirm that OL is indeed closed when you are using SWA?

What browser and version of OL are you using?

Outlook is closed indeed.
Just to be sure, I closed outlook, then SWA en then logged back in to SWA.

These are the software versions I'm using:
- Scalix Community Edition v9.4.2
- SUSE Linux 9.3 Prof.
- Internet explorer 6.0.3790.1830 (incl SP1) on Windows Server 2003
