Problem with PDA

Hi,

we have a scalix 9.4.2 on a sles 9 server running. The client have windows xp professional on a fujitsu siemens lifebook with all updates, outlook 2003 with all updates, active sync 4.1 and a fujitsu siemens pocket loox 718 with windows mobile 2003.

When the pda sync with outlook basilary all work fine. But following problem we have, for example: The user make in outlook a date and sync this with active sync to the pda. Then he change the date on pda and the sync does not change the date in outlook. Wenn I make a new entry oder delete this date, this will sync.

I made following observation:
He have outlook open and look on the calendar. He make da date in outlook, sync this to pda. Change on pda the date and sync again. I see, that outlook for one second change the date as on pda and then change outlook alone the date to the old status.

We have this test with scalix 9.2.0 server and 9.4.2 server = same outcome We have test active sync 3.7.1, 3.8, 4.0 and 4.1 = same outcome

Then we have test this situation on a other notebook with an other pda and we have the same problem.

What can we do?

Hi Robert,

We are working to certify ActiveSync as ScalixReady. However, there are still a handful of open issues that Engineering is working to resolve. Among them is the problem that you mentioned where certain data doesn't get sync'ed back to Scalix properly. We are actively working on these issues, but I don't have an ETA for a fix at this time.
