Some maybe problems with outlook 2000

Hi,
I have installed scalix 9.1 on SuSE 9.1. On the windows 2000 client (german environment) I installed the scalix MAPI for Outlook 2000 (9.0.6926 SP3). I get an error message saying
Insall_audit_server_location not set

I can't find this value to be documented, to what should I set it in the .ini file? To the DNS-name of the scalix server?
Outllok shows a warning at startup, I try to translate it:
Macros are not aktivated, you should activate macros when you are asked

It also shows an error:
"Unknown error 0x92840102." translated error-text: "The cuurent task is not supported by the implemantation of the service supplier."

Outlook starts, but I do not feel comfortable with that message showing up every time.

What did I do wrong?

Which version of the MAPI providers have you installed ?

Can you give more details on your Windows environment ? For example, is this a Terminal Services client, are you installing as an administrator ? Is your default system drive set as C: ?

You should install as administrator because the Scalix providers require access to c:\windows or c:\winnt for some files.

1.: I can't find any special version information. It is the one bundled with the scalix9.1 demo server.
2.: Windows 2000 SP4, with all recent patches installed. The client is not a member of a domain for now and has fixed IP and DNS information. I am testing as a local adminstrator,. The scalix server is named sv001, resolution forward and backwards works, also with scalix-default-mail and the client name (sv01, one '0' less).
The install.ini is now:

172.18.0.222 is the scalix server.
I tried to delete or aktually rename install.ini. I don't get any error message than dureing installation of the mapi but the outlook error still exists. I removed scalix-mapi support in the windows system-control panel and reinstalled scalix-mapi - no change.

Can you post the contents of c:\temp\log.txt ?

Shortly after installing the MAPI I have a file OMNAME in "c:\".

I did not create a directory "c:\temp", my fault. I did so now, removed the mapi-connector in the system-panel, deinstalled the it and reinstalled it again. Same error and no files in c:\temp
There is a file called scalixmail.txt in c:\

First thing to do is to uninstall Scalix Connect and reboot.

Next, take just setup.exe and copy it somewhere so that it is not in the same directory as install.ini or setup.iss then run through the installation again.

Ensure that you are have administrator privileges.

You should then create a new profile. Does this cause an error ?

If not, start up Outlook and before you sign in, click the Unterstutzung tab and enable all options marked "MAPI Ein- und Ausstiegspunkte + Kommentar" and also "Interne Funktionen protokollieren" and "UAL-Befehls-/Antwortdaten protokollieren".

This will generate a *very* big c:\scalixmail.log file, please zip it up and mail it to support@scalix.com and I will review it.
