Cannot create a New Account with Outlook Connector 9.4.0.46

Hi

I have installed Scalix Connector in Windows XP SP2 and Microsoft Office 2003 SP1 (Outlook 2003)

After install the Connector, I have created a Profile and Add New Email but when select the Scalix Server and Outlook 2003 say this warning.

"Error when looking for one of the elements necessary to complete the operation. It can that has been eliminated."

What happen?

Hi Linck,

I'm not totally clear on what steps you're taking. When you're creating a profile, are you getting the dialog box where it's prompting you for the Username and Password? Are you then clicking on the Advanced button and entering the FQDN of your Scalix server?

Hi Rachel,

i had the same issue this week, i made an fresh installation of Outlook 2003 and Scalix Connector 9.2.0, created an new user profile. Opened Outlook 2003, did configure mail, username and password. Afterwards, closed Outlook 2003 and installed the new version of Scalix Connector 9.4.0. Outlook opens OK with new connector, but when you try to create a new profile, wether in the same account or other one, the message described by Linck Tello appeared. I´ve uninstalled Scalix Connector 9.4.0 and returned to Scalix Connector 9.2.0

Problem persist only with Outlook 2003

Hello Rachel

The dialog box where it's prompting you for the Username and Password don't is displayed. The message described is displayed after the click in the Scalix Server.

This problem only appears with Outlook 2003, in the same machine with Outlook XP not have any problem.
