Hi to all,

at the moment i'm using scalix to fetch the mails from the isp and putting them to the mailbox of the user. but i was thinking about to use the IMAP feature of the ISP mailboxes.

so, is it poosible to connect via IMAP to the ISP mailboxes?

Sure, i can use Thunderbird for that and just use scalix for managing the adresses and calendar. but in this case, how can i access with thunderbird i.e. the contacts folder?

thanks for answers.

There's no way to split the access in SWA or Outlook.

In Thunderbird you can use the Scalix server as a LDAP address book and search using that.

ok, so the "pop"-solution with the external isp is the only way. ok.

i'm not very familiar with LDAP, but the solution sounds good for me.
can you tell me waht i have to enter in thunderbird especially for the search string?

that would be very nice.
