renaming of e-mail addresses possible?

Hi,

As I had several issues with some clients (PST migration, software compatibility, Outlook crashes) so I want to migrate in a very very soft way all further clients. This is what I want to do:
1 install connector
2 add new Windows profile to the client like "username2"
3 add new user "username" to scalix with username2@domain.com as mail address
4 take the PST from username migrate it to username2
5 test everything
6 after success migrate it to the real account
7 change the e-mail address from username2@domain.com to username@domain.com

I need to change the mail address because otherwise mail from a scalix user to a not-already-migrated-user would not be routed via the smarthost, So are there _any_ issues if I change the mail address of a user afterwards? Is there anything I should take care of?

greets
Michael

Scalix specs:
Server
OS Debian "etch" 4.0
Scalix 11.2 CE

Client
OS WinXP / Win2k
client Outlook 2003 / SWA

Setup
scalix behind firewall, dynamic IP address, mail domain hosted outside, mail gets in via fetchmail, out via smarthost

Hi

All migration issues are handeled by the Scalix migration tool. They are applicable to commercial versions of scalix such as SBE or enterprise version. Unfortunatly these versions are not suppoted on Debian
