omscan: Unable to read requested data from a serialised file

I'm getting this error when running omscan. According to google, its pretty rare. Any ideas how I should go about fixing the mailbox error?

I think I solved my own problem.

I decided to delete the user using 'omdelent' which worked partially. I was unable to recreate the user in sac, and so I tried using omdelu on the username. I received errors similar to the ones I was receiving in omscan. I went to delete the offending directory on the file system and noticed that it was somehow owned by root. I set its ownership to 'scalix' and it seems to be working ok.
