I recieve an X.1.1 error report when sending email to a couple of clients. I can send these email from any other system but not scalix.

----------------------------- ERROR REPORT ----------------------------- Message could not be delivered to the following recipient:

you/ internet
DDT1=RFC-822; DDV1=you@anywhere.com;

because: 'X.1.1 Bad destination mailbox address' [OM 8911]
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Above is the error report ( address changed ).

Any ideas?

if you go to a command line on your scalix server and type in omsolve -n om 8911 it will define the error for you a little more.

omsolve -n om 8911
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error Group: OM Error Number: 8911

X.1.1 Bad destination mailbox address

The mailbox specified in the address does not exist. For
Internet mail names, this means the address portion to the
left of the "@" sign is invalid.
So basiclly the "you or what is to the left of the @ is invalid
