Unable to see New Mail

Greetings,

I'm in the process of rolling out Scalix at my company, and am a definite newbie with this product. I can send email internally and externally, but email I send from the outside never hits my inbox. The mail logs tell me that it has been received, but that's about as far as it goes. Does anyone have any coaching?

Thanks in advance,

Jim

What client are you using? If it's IMAP, then try to delete your IMAP cache.

Hi Valerion.

Thanks for the reply. Haven't gotten to that point yet, I'm still playing around with the config and design of the web interface, which is the piece that is currently mocking me....

increase local delivery logging to 9 (omconfaud local 9) and have a look at the logs after a mail has been delivered.

You should see a local delivery record delivering to your mailbox.

Also have a look at queues to see if its stuck somewhere (omqstat)

Thanks, all. Turns out that it was an upstream problem with my ISP, who had mistakenly aliased my production email server name with my test server name, which caused the ruckus. Appreciate your input, though!

Best,

Jim
