Container/Folder Problems

Postby charon » Fri Nov 13, 2009 8:00 am

Hi,

i discovered a problem with a user some time ago.

Suddenly he is not able to move Mails from INBOX into other folders.
I first thought this was IMAP cache related, but deleting the cache did not solve the issue.

When the user closes his Outlook, the mail is completely gone and i can see the folder where the mail was moved to as a duplicate subfolder within the target folder.

Code: Select all

Charon,

long shot, but I would always check the MAPI folders to see if they are valid.

Use omcontain, with the lm option to list the top level MAPI folders, and check the properties of each of those top leve; folders to ensure they match the MAPI ids.

Mick
