Delete Message from queue

Postby andreas » Mon Apr 06, 2009 3:34 am

Hallo,

we have tested an archive Server few month ago, but we forgot to turn out the Archive option in Scalix.
Now we have over 100000 Mails in the Archivequeue.
How can i delete them?

greetings
Andreas
Best regards,
Andreas

Try omdump - it may be the fastest way if you want to just dump them.

omdumpmsgs or omqdump?

Can you give a syntax example, please?

Just run omqdump - it will ask for a password (same as omcontain - just search here). You will get presented with a menu, which has a delete option.

Just be aware that omqdump/omcontain/etc are diagnostic tools designed to repair mailboxes. They bypass all security and integrity checks in the server, so they can potentially break things if you're not careful.
