mail loops back to me error

It seems that I get the error 553 mail loops back to me (mx problem?) only when mail is sent to my server and the mailbox does not exist. Is there a way to stop getting this message?

Make sure the domain is in your local-host-names file and that your MX records points to this machine.

LOL, just as I was going to respond with, "I already did that" I went and took a last look and everything but just my domain name was in there. So I added it and sent a test message and it works as expected. duh.. Thanks.
