Issue with local delivery logs

Hi,

I have set the local delivery logging option to "All message" and using Get Log i can see all the messages which i sent or received.
But the same when i check under /var/log/maillog, i dont get the proper information.
It works fine for Internet mail gateway.
Eg.
From: user1@scalix.com
To: user2@scalix.com
The logs can be seen correctly using Get Log option. But when i check the maillog file, it always shows the following information... (The To & From address show differently. For any message it says-> To:maanu@tim.ro and from: test1@sgavscxp01.o.izhub.com). Please advice.

You mean auditing?

Local delivery has nothing to do with sendmail - if you send a message between your users, it wouldn't need to get logged by sendmail at all.

What exactly is your problem?

Hi,

I am trying to track the email transaction (internal and external).
I can get these logs using web administration. Can i find the same logs in the server directly?
I need to know the location from where i can get these transaction log information on the linux server (Scalix server).

Look for auditing in the forum. Lots of posts about it.

Enable auditing on the Service Router, the Internet Mail Gateway, Local Delivery and the SMTP Relay.
