Howto change received lines

Postby toni31 » Sat Jul 05, 2008 7:45 pm

Hi,

i'm using scalix 11.4 together with an internal smarthost running sendmail.

my problem ist that mails which i send out has got 4 received headers.

these lines are from my test system where the smarthost is my provider, so please
take into account that "from fwd35.aul.t-online.de" should be our internal smarthost.

Received: (qmail invoked by alias); 06 Jul 2008 00:06:29 -0000
Received: from mailout01.t-online.de (EHLO mailout01.t-online.de) [194.25.134.80]
by mx0.gmx.net (mx093) with SMTP; 06 Jul 2008 02:06:29 +0200
Received: from fwd35.aul.t-online.de
by mailout01.t-online.de with smtp

with esmtp id 1KFHlo-16LCc40; Sun, 6 Jul 2008 02:06:24 +0200
Received: id m6609xFe017603; Sun, 6 Jul 2008 02:10:00 +0200
Received: from [127.0.0.1] ( [192.x.x.x])
by scalix.foobar.intern.de (Scalix SMTP Relay 11.4.0.11669)
via ESMTP; Sun, 06 Jul 2008 02:09:59 +0200 (CEST)

in sendmail.cf i have changed all the received lines to
HReceived: id $i; $b;
so i think that the second received line in mailheader shows only id and date. Is that correct? And what can i do to insert the local hostname?
But much better would be how to change scalix.foobar.intern.de into the scalix.foobar.de together with the official ip(which is already there)?
And of course to delete the first received line. Why should everybody know info about the sending pc with hostname and internal ip? in my case unfortunately i changed something unknown so that 127.0.0.1 is seen instead of hostname. Can someone tell me what i have changed?
version number about smtprelay i also want to get rid of.

How do you change your received lines in order to give minimum info away?

Thanks
Flep
