Forwarding Mails to external Mailserver

Postby dirkfries » Mon Jun 23, 2008 4:58 am

Hi @all,

we use Scalix for a small group of field workers.
There's a Postfix/Cyrus Mailserver which stores Mails for those field workers locally and forwards those Mails to the Scalix Server.
So if one Mail comes from the Internet it get's stored both on the Cyrus AND in the Scalix Server.
That's fine.

But if one field worker sends a mail to another field worker Scalix keeps the mail and there's no copy of the Mail on the Cyrus Mailserver.
While browsing this Forum I found that using a Smarthost isn't the solution to my problem.

So my Question is :
Is there any way to send a copy of each incoming Mail to another Mailadress ?
For example :

A Mail is send via Scalix to another Scalixuser

user1@scalixserver.tld -> user2@scalixserver.tld
If there would be a forwarding mechanism for user2 that all Mails go to user2@cyrusserver.tld I guess this would help me out.

Thanks a lot :-)

You can use sxaa to create an auto-forward in user2's account. Would that do what you want?

That would be perfect !
I guess I'll try this tonight.

In the meantime I found that there's a "Rules" Menu in die Scalix Frontend.
But if I click on that button I get this error message :

"HTTP Status 404 - /webmailScalix/rw/prof=RW-GERMAN

type Status report

message /webmailScalix/rw/prof=RW-GERMAN

description The requested resource (/webmailScalix/rw/prof=RW-GERMAN) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/5.5.25"

I know that's kind of off topic, but does someone have an idea what's missing ?

Thanks in advance !
