Possible to scan internal email with an external server?

Hi there,

we're using a mail gateway to scan all the incoming email for spam virus etc.

My boss would like to scan also all the internal emails, I guess Scalix uses local delivery for its users. Is it possibile to have them scanned by the mail gateway as well?

No, it's not, although Scalix has built-in functionality to scan internal messages itself. Have a look in the Setup guide for the ClamAV instructions. You can modify this to suit your setup.

It's not really a big issue, but the whole idea was to leave Scalix without any third party add-on installed and leave all the job to the other server.

So, no internal scan
