Direct delivery to local procmail system for certain users

Postby boundup » Mon Jul 30, 2007 3:12 pm

Hi All
I'm trying to establish Scalix on our replacement internal email server, but one requirement is blocking me at present.

On our current system we have a selection of automated mailin addresses which are passed to procmail for processing, which automatically extract attachments and place them for processing

Is there a way to either get Scalix to do the same processing, or alternatively to mark certain users as to be delivered directly as per the existing setup?

Karl

P.S. If an admin reads this i had to create a second account as I never received my activation email for 3rdof5 (karl@3rdof5.co.uk) and have been unable to find a way to contact anyone to resolve the issue

Addresses unknown to Scalix gets passed to sendmail for processing. So you can do one of two things:

1) Use a sendmail milter to replace the procmail filtering
2) Keep your existing sendmail & procmail user, and use as before. You can get mail in the sendmail mailbox to be forwarded to a Scalix mailbox with .forward.
