Internet users into standard users

Postby WillyWill » Tue Jul 17, 2007 1:28 pm

I am having trouble provisioning all my mailboxes. I have loaded all of my directories into the scalix database, but when I ran the omaddent script to provision them in the SAC... it only provisioned a few of them into premium users and the rest were still internet users. How do I provision the internet users into regular standard mail accounts?

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

I would also like to know how to 'convert' internet accounts into standard user accounts. Keeping their group (PDL) memberships.

You will have to delete the internet user, then create a mailbox with the same details. This means you will also have to re-do the group ownerships.

Internet users are simply directory entries, they have no associated mailbox and it's not that easy to create one for them as lots of extra work is done when Scalix creates a mailbox that gets skipped for Internet users.
