Hello.

I've read a quite a lot of posts about calendar integration with evolution and thunderbird / lightening, but I couldn't find out if its possible now (scalix 11.3 CE) to add new appointments over thunderbird or evolution..
Currently I'm able to read the calendar data over iCal which are correctly displayed with the lightening ad-on. So far so good, but how can I make new entries and save them. When I try to do this, the following error message appears:

Code: Select all

"...calendar is read-only..."

I do not want to use outlook or the web-interface for doing this.
Any suggestions?

thanks in advice

I'm using WindowsXP version of Thunderbird 1.5.0.14 and Lightning 0.7 extension, and have no problems reading/writing to the scalix calendar for *my* account. I can still see calendars from some other users, but they are "edit" protected, so the read-only there also makes sense.

But if you're talking about *your own* account, you may need to to right click the Scalix calendar name on the left pan, go to Properties and check OFF the Read-only box.
