"User unknown"-message on public folders

Hello,
I am having the following problem with my Scalix Server 11.4 CE. I have setup several testusers and one catchall-adress which is properly configured vi smtpd.cfg. All this is working.
Besides the above I have 2 public folders which I have assigned eMail-adresses to. When I try to send an eMail to a public folder it gets rejected by sendmail saying "User unknow". Its not even getting scanned by spamassassin, or send to the catch-all adress.
Do you have an idea how to solve this issue?
