Hi
first try
service scalix-tomcat restart
followed by
service httpd restart
best of luck
PS Tomcat may take 2 - 3 minutes to restart even though you get the prompt back straight away.

Tried both those several times as I made config changes. No luck.

I have read though similar threads and suggestions have not helped. What info would provide assistance in resolving this problem?

For SWA - does it do that for all users? No one can log in?
For SAC - do a omshowu -n sxadmin and look at the authentication field - that is what must be used when logging in to SAC (so if the auth id field says sxadmin you put that - if it says sxadmin@domainname then you would put that in) - also make sure you have the correct password.
You can set it with ommodu sxadmin -p (then a password).

No one can log into SWA or SAC (I have 3 admin accounts).
The authentication field shows:
Authentication ID: sxadmin
Though I only ever used the user@domain account since I installed the server.
Should the authID have the domain name at the end?

The authid can be anything you want it to be (my users have first initial last name as the authid) - right now it is sxadmin and that is fine.
Can you log in using sxadmin and then the password?

No, I can't log in. I just tried resetting the password with:
ommodu sxadmin -p <password>
I also tried
ommodu -o sxadmin/scalix -p <password>
When I try to log in I get "could not log in..."

Hi
Now it gets a bit morte serious. We will needs some logs to help sove the issue.
The logs I need are
/var/opt/scalix/xx/tomcat/logs/scalix-res.log
/var/opt/scalix/xx/tomcat/logs/scalix-caa.log
/var/opt/scalix/xx/tomcat/logs/catalina.out
as these logs get REAL big you may want to delete everything in
/var/opt/scalix/xx/tomcat/logs/
restart tomcat service scalix-tomcat restart then attempt to log on using SWA and SAC

Hi
I have to go out in 10 mins but
It may be that your problem is with the ldapmapper service. This is internal to Scalix, sort of.
if you look on the forums for ldapmapper then you may find a resolution.
Sorry I can't be of more help, very short of time.

Yes I had the exact same issue. My ldapmapper wasn't running and I couldn't log into SAC.
Make sure it's running, and also make sure it's set to start every time you reboot.

I won't have a chance to try it out until I get back into the office on Monday. Good suggestion, I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
