Scalix configuration is asking me for
-> Enter the name of the primary mailnode on this server:

can anyone tell me what mailnode is? and what is the use of this?

A mailnode is a container for user accounts, for administrative purposes. Most people only need one, and the name is really irrelevant (though stick with alphanumerics).
