Hi,

I am just wondering if this is possible?

I have a group called "news" with some people in it, who receive press releases. I would like to temporairly add an auto responder to this, which would just send back a message with a specific subject and body to the sender of the email. This is for a new announcement over Christmas.

I thought about creating a separate mailbox, then putting an out of office responder on this, but don't like the idea, as 1, the subject would not be the specific subject, and 2, the mailbox would fill up with all the messages.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi,

Keep forgetting Sendmail is involved here, got the autoresponder working as a separate mailbox with Procmail, which did what we wanted.
