Voting Buttons

Postby shambler » Tue Nov 27, 2007 12:51 am

I'm having trouble with voting buttons. I've found that when email messages with voting buttons are sent between Scalix clients and non-Scalix clients, the voting buttons don't show up. If a Scalix user sends to another Scalix user, it works. If a non-Scalix user sends to another non-Scalix user, it also works.

We're running Scalix 11.1 on Fedora Core 5 and all clients use Outlook 2003. I'm in the process of changing users over to Scalix, so we have some users on Scalix and some on our existing system, which just uses POP3.

After reading through this thread (which didn't really apply as we don't use exchange) I fiddled around with the message formats on the sending machine but it hasn't made a difference. Has anybody else had this issue?

I have Problems with the Voting Buttons (Abstimmungsschaltflächen) too.
When I am sending and recieving them with an Outlook Profile without Cache, they are displayed correct.
But when I am using an Profile with enabled SmartCache, the email in the send folder contains the buttons, but in the inbox they are not availabe.

I've found an forum on the web
http://www.officedaily.de/outlook/keine-abstimmungsschaltflachen-in-e-mails/
where they say that you should send Meeting Requests via ICalendar Format only. (Tools - Options - Calendar Options) but thats unavailable.

I've already tryed it with the newest 11.3 U1 Connector.

Any Ideas?
