Default realm for AuthID?

Most of my users are using Scalix with Kerberos-based SSO. The Kerberos KDC is a Windows 2003 Active Directory DC. Consequently, the AuthIDs have the (fairly ugly) realm attached: username@DOMAINNAME.LOCAL

Sometimes, the same users need to log on to SWA. I would like to allow my users to log on using their regular user name WITHOUT the realm. This user name is neither the first nor last name or their email address. Is there a way to have SWA automatically append a default realm to the user name? Or alternatively, is there a way to add a second authID?

Thanks!

In SWA You can also log in with a unique name (Given Name, Surname is usually enough), or with your primary email address.

Scalix needs the Auth ID to pass to the Kerberos TGS to get a ticket, and is is possible to have multiple realms (in theory, haven't seen this myself).

One of my clients put the short username in the surname field, and used the Display Name for the full name, since that's what shows up in the address book, though he doesn't use AD for authentication.
