did you change your hostname? in that case, check wiki.scalix.com for the hostname change documenation.

no hostname is the same. I only get some of the users in the list, is there a way to re-populate the sac data? users are able to login and working properly

well, it's not really populating, i assume it's really a hostname thingy.

try

Code: Select all

omsearch -s -m CN/HOST-FQDN

and check if you can see any anomaly with the hostname attribute of the users you don't see.

if so, ommodent should be your friend to fix it (check manpage for details)

then - are you sure you haven't applied a filter inside SAC console that would not show all of the users?? the console display is simply based on an online query against scalix-ldap which is the same as what you see with omsearch.

certainly you can look at the records in detail using

Code: Select all

omsearch -s -v -m @all-attr@

and see if you can see any significant difference betsween one of the entries that shows up and one that doesn't.

I don't see any oddness to the entries. I restarted the scalix-tomcat service just for kicks and no difference.

Have you also checked the "Resources" in SAC?

Mailboxes will not be displayed as users if defined to auto-accept meeting requests. (You can do this in Outlook)

that is it. I removed the check box in outlook and closed both sac and outlook but they still show up under resources. Is there anything I have to do or just wait?

I would try

Code: Select all

ommodu -o "first last" --resource N

There seems to be a default limit on the number of users that can be displayed on the sac list.

correct. this is the smaller of those two numbers:

Code: Select all

whisky:~# grep -i size /var/opt/scalix/??/caa/scalix.res/config/ubermanager.properties /var/opt/scalix/??/s/sys/slapd.conf
/var/opt/scalix/e3/caa/scalix.res/config/ubermanager.properties:ubermanager.console.maxListSize=100
/var/opt/scalix/e3/s/sys/slapd.conf:sizelimit   1000

This fixed it. Was this something that the installer did? we normally used web access and did not notice a problem until we tried to use outlook connect, we were resources and standard users as apposed to premium.
