Hi,

Is the umlaut in the display name of the user or in the login id? Or both perhaps?

This is from the known issues list in the 11.2 relnotes:
---
Issue:

The use of non-ASCII characters in display or common names to log in to SWA and Outlook is not supported.

Workaround:

None.

Don't know if this really affects in your problem but just FYI.
