Hi,

Unfortunately we had a user get deleted from sac, and then the user recreated. Will the emails from the old account be deleted immediately or will they be orphaned for omscan to clean up?

Is there any way of recovering at least some of the emails from the mail store back to the account? (omscan was disabled soon after the incident)

omvers shows everything at : 11.1.0.10849

I may be mistaken, but I believe there is no way to get them back. They are not orphaned, but deleted in the same way as if you deleted from a client.

The easiest way would be to restore a copy of the user's mailbox from your backups. If you were backing up /var/opt/scalix you can restore the backup to a different machine, then create a mailbox dump with sxmboxexp and import that on your live machine. If you were doing sxmboxexp dumps as backups, you can just import that.
