New Groups/Users not showing in client

Hi,

I have added new users and groups to Scalix using the Admin console, however they are not showing in any of the clients (Outlook).

I have just created a new group called 'Test Group' then went into the client. It did not show up in the 'To:' listing, however if i type 'Test' and hit tab, it populates with 'Test Group'.

Is there some sort of command or something I need to do on the Scalix server to update the list? This is happening with both groups and users.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Trev.

Hi,

I should have mentioned that existing users and groups seem to be ok and in the list. It just appears to be new ones.

Thanks

Did you change the hostname at all ?

Take a look at http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?title=HowTos/ChangeFQDN for more information.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

No, the hostname has not been changed. Also if the hostname was changed, wouldn't the entire list be unavailable?

Thanks
Trev.

Trev,

have you run omdiropt and omexeccda.

Mick

ps...a quick check to see if the entry has been "sorted" using omexeccda is to run:

omsearch -d _hp_isvsd_ -s=surname/g=givenname (if your system directory is not called "SYSTEM", then use _hp_isvsd_whateveryourdefaultdirectoryis)

Look for the "CLIENT-ORDER=" attribute. That shows where it appears in the client sorted directory

Hi,
if you are using smart-cache you might add
AB_DOWNLOAD_INTERVAL=1
to your general.cfg

see http://bugzilla.scalix.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14829
