Actually, this has probably been wrong for weeks, but only now has the virtual hosts are being used....
I built a new host with Centos 5.
After the Centos install, I got BIND working; this is one of my main nameservers.
After BIND, I set up apache for virtual hosting, pretty much copying the httpd.conf file from my old Scalix 10 server. I was able to access my virutal hosts and user directories.
I then rsynced scalix from the v10 system, and upgraded to 11.1
Scalix is working (or it seems, there are times that webmail and sca will not respond, and the only fix I have found is to reboot the server).
User directories are working: http://htt-consult.com/~me
But it was pointed out to me last week that the virtual hosts are not working.
I have read: http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... Tos/Apache, but am not clear about the info there...
So I looked at /etc/http/conf/httpd.conf and ServerName is set and UseCanonicalName is Off. But if you enter the virutal host's url, you go to the ServerName.
In fact, I noticed that if you use the www.domain.tld for the host, it goes to the ServerName, and I did not set up a virtual host for the domain name, nor did I include ServerAlias for the Default Virtual domain. So it really looks like something is stomping on the client supplied URL.
I have looked over the httpd.conf all morning, and I can't see what is going wrong.
Out of dispair, I added the virutal host names to my /etc/hosts file and restarted Network, but no change (well this IS a nameserver for all those domains).
Some help would be greatly appreciated.
