I just installed Scalix 11.1.0 for Debian. Everything seems to be ok, my only concern was this process. The resources seem to be a bit high, is it normal?
Code: Select all
root 19434 18.0 21.8 524948 112712 pts/1 Sl Sep14 0:43 /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun/bin/java -server -Xms256m -Xmx256m -Dscalix.instance=/var/opt/scalix/aw -Djava.util.logging.manager=org.apache.juli.ClassLoaderLogManager -Djava.util.logging.config.file=/var/opt/scalix/aw/tomcat/conf/logging.properties -Djava.endorsed.dirs=/opt/scalix-tomcat/common/endorsed -classpath /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun/lib/tools.jar:/opt/scalix-tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar:/opt/scalix-tomcat/bin/commons-logging-api.jar -Dcatalina.base=/var/opt/scalix/aw/tomcat -Dcatalina.home=/opt/scalix-tomcat -Djava.io.tmpdir=/var/opt/scalix/aw/tomcat/temp org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap start
htop shows about 77 of these processes to do with ClassLoaderLogManager and tomcat's logging variables, all with virtual memory 516M?
Any ideas? Is it something to be concerned about or is this normal for Scalix/Tomcat.
Thanks
