Hi,

I've just rebuilt a server from Mandriva to Fedora so i can install scalix onto it

I backed up the /home dir and the /var/spool/mail dirs so no data was lost

I'd now like to know how to import the /var/spool/mail/ <user> files into the appropriate user on scalix.

There isn't a good import utility for something like that.

I'd advise pulling the data into the client, and then using the desktop client to pump the data back into Scalix after you've created the users.

If you use Outlook, for example, pull all their mail in, and dump it as a PST. Then, connect to Scalix, and import the PST.

Other clients will be similar.

i transferred the files onto another server elsewhere - set up the imap, and transferred imap to imap

was a pain, but it worked
