Active Directory: failed to find any matching entry

Greetings.

I apologize if this is the wrong sub-forum to post this in.

I am attempting to set up the trial of Scalix for evaluation, and have hit a snag when attempting to access our Active Directory domain. I have been following the instructions in the Setup Guide v11.0.2, and so far, they have worked. However, when I complete step 21 under "Setting up Synchronization Agreements", though there are no errors, there is a warning stating that it "failed to find any matching entry" under the search base. When I attempt to force a complete reload of the directory, it repeatedly says "0 entries to check".

Using the exact same settings (Administrator dn, password, search base, etc) I have been able to access our Active Directory server as an LDAP server in the past--and, indeed, I tried it this morning to make sure something hadn't changed in the interim, and it works fine (using phpLDAPAdmin 1.0.2).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. We think Scalix looks like an excellent product, but we do not have a great deal of time in which to make a decision on whether to purchase it, and would like to be able to make a proper recommendation.

Thank you.

Hi,

Please post some output from your omldapsync test run, which is prompted after you finish the configuration (e.g. omldapsync -c XYZ -d1).

Also worth double check between your working manual search and that issued from omldapsync in terms of bind dn, password, search base, search scope, search filter, attribute list, host name, port number, etc (all stored inside the omldapsync sync.cfg file).

Regards,
Danny
